During 1511, King Henry VII of England decided to restrict bowling only for wealthy people. In addition to that, another law was passed to keep workers away from bowling. They were only provided with the chance to engage with bowling in Christmas. However, these laws were repealed in 1845.
Bowling lanes that we can see in today’s world came into play in the year 1846. They were developed as a part of Roseland Cottage constructions in Connecticut, United States. When Germans immigrated to the United States during the 19th Century, the sport received a lot of attention.
How Bowling Balls are Made?
If you take a look at a modern bowling bowl, you will notice that it is made out of two primary components. They include the core and cover stock. Even though you can find some slight variations in these balls, all of them are made in a similar process.
For the core of the bowling ball, a filler material is included. Then the cover stock is created on top of it. Most of the bowling balls that you can find out there in the world come along with cover stocks that are made out of polyester.
