Baking is one of the best methods available for you to prepare fresh salmon. It can be used to make a variety of delicious recipes as well.

Before you bake salmon, you should remove bones first. In other words, you need to remove pin bones from the salmon fillet. That’s because the pin bones are thick and big and can lead you towards choking hazards. You can use a tweezer to get the job done.

As the next step, you will need to season salmon. You can use black pepper and salt to season salmon.  You can further enhance the taste of salmon with the help of teriyaki sauce, maple syrup or smoked paprika. You can use them depending on your preferences.

Now you are ready for baking salmon. That’s where you need to prepare a parchment paper-lined tray or foil-lined tray. Then you can place seasoned salmon in them for baking. Also, grease the bottom of your pan with oil. So, that salmon will not stick and cleaning will be hassle-free.

You can now preheat your oven to a temperature of 125 degrees Fahrenheit. You must understand that the maximum temperature allowed to go ahead with is 150 degrees Fahrenheit. Hence, you need to make sure that you are not exceeding the maximum temperature.

You can place seasoned salmon inside the oven and bake it. You can bake salmon for a duration of around 15 minutes and it will be ready. You can also take a look at salmon baking inside the oven and get to know about doneness. In fact, the color of salmon would change from orange to a glossy exterior. When you see the color change, you can take out salmon.
